The music on TRANSITIONS is a unique blend of classical Hindustani music,
rock, pop, soul and ambient music, interwoven with spiritually inclined lyrics.
There are two adaptations of the Gayatri mantra,
this most glorious Vedic prayer that hails the effulgence of the Cosmic Sun.
Some of the melodies are set to traditional North Indian ragas, viz.:
Hansa Gayatri in the raga Hansadvani
Fountain of life in the raga Bhimpalasi
Om Namah Shivaya in the raga Darbari
Jaijai Gayatri in the raga Jaijaivanti
Instruments that are being played include: sitar, esraj, tanpura, electric
and acoustic guitars, keyboards and a variety of percussion
