The Mr Averell album 'Out of my mind' was released by Equally Tuned in January 2005. It contains 9 original tracks composed by Mr Averell including lyrics written by himself, Cathy Pemberton and Frans Niessen.

While Mr Averell's performances are many times compared to Captain Beefheart the press seems to have difficulties putting Mr Averell's unique style in an existing genre, 'Out of my mind' is nevertheless more than once related to great artists like John Cale, Tom Waits, Nick Cave and others.
